Architectural Pavilion

This Pavillion was inspired and designed like the Brazilian Architect Oscar Niemeyer. Oscar Niemeyer was the designer who brought Modernism to Brazil. I based this piece primarily off of the Church of Saint Francis of Assisi which is a chapel in Pampulha region of Belo Horizonte, in the state of Minas Gerais, southeastern Brazil. Niemeyer worked primarily with stark white concrete and a single pop of color that was always primary, so I emulated that within this pavilion. In the pavilion on the side pedestals there is a biography of Niemeyer's life and works and on the middle pedestals is his greatest creation the city of Brazillia which he designed.
